Leighton Meester Rocks

If you all guys think that  Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester can only act well in TV shows, then you must think twice over it, as she has proved that she is a versatile personality and only TV is not her limit.
She did it by appearing in the song "Good Girls Go Bad", that is on the top of music world these days. The song is teamwork of Meester and the Cobra Starship. The song belongs to the album “Hot Mess”.
Meester herself is amazed on such a huge success of the song. Talking over this on the occasion of Teen Choice Awards, she said, “The Cobra Starship song has been amazing. Neither I nor the band had any idea if anyone would like the song. I did it just because I just liked the song. Now I'm very excited about it."
On the award ceremony, Meester succeeded to get the honor for Choice TV Actress, whereas Gossip Girl got the award for Choice TV: Drama.

Leighton Meester is well known for her portrayal of Blair Waldorf on the very successful TV show, Gossip Girl. Blair is a part of high profile society. She is shown as a devious, arrogant, low and smart girl.

Her character was widely appreciated and is considered as one of the most important character of the show. With this portrayal, Meester also reached the peak of stardom. And these days Meester is working real hard on the upcoming season of Gossip Girl.

Anyways I do have one more news about the forthcoming season of the show. The role of Carter Baizen that is portrayed by Sebastian Stan is going to be a major role this time. Carter is shown as the rival of Nate and Chuck. Carter appeared as Chuck's nemesis on Gossip Girl.
I am sure that the approaching season will be amazing and all the fans will get another dosage of fun and entertainment.

Ed Westwick Isn't Leaving Gossip Girl After All

Stop fretting, Chuck/Blair ‘shippers – Ed Westwick says he’s not leaving Gossip Girl any time soon.

Gossip Girl fans were worried last week when Westwick made comments to Tatler magazine indicating that he was ready to leave the CW drama that made him famous.

"It's all about the work, you know. The feeling you get when you connect to the work," said the 23-year-old actor."And that's what I had with Chuck Bass in the beginning -- I was fascinated by him. But now, to be completely honest, I'm ready to do something else. Really ready to do something else."

But at the UK premiere of Chalet Girl last night, Westwick told OK! Magazine that his statement was misunderstood.

"That was kind of taken out of context, what I actually said was that I wanted to maximise my time but I had agreed to do other projects as well,” he explained, adding that he has no plans to quit Gossip Girl. “I’m having a fantastic time with Gossip Girl, great character, great cast and I live in New York City."

But Gossip Girl may only have a couple of years left: executive producer Stephanie Savage told Zap2It that she doesn’t see the show going beyond six seasons, if that.

"A six-year contract is just what's standard in TV and for any show like ours if it goes on past six years, there are almost always significant changes," Savage said. "We are just focused on finishing out Season 4 and hopefully getting a Season 5."

We may be used to seeing her playing style queen Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, but after her turn in The Town opposite Ben Affleck, it seems she's destined for more hard-hitting roles.

In the coming-of-age drama Blake will play mum to teen sensation Chloe Moretz aka Kick Ass' Hit Girl, who stars as a Nebraska teen who sets off for the bright lights of Las Vegas. It's going to take a serious make-under for Blake to look convincing as the mum of a teenager, but we're sure her and Chloe will make a very talented duo!

The brothers' relationship is 'the constant that you rely on' says Jensen Ackles Of 'Supernatural'

Any "Supernatural" fan can tell you the first half of Season 6 felt drastically different than the show they had come to know and love over the past five years. Not a bad different, but different nonetheless.
The relationship between Sam and Dean, the core of the show, changed radically with Sam coming back from hell minus his soul; The revelation sent Dean into crusade-mode, tirelessly fighting to bring his brother back.
Zap2it was On the Scene at the Creation Entertainment Salute to Supernatural Event in Los Angeles where Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki talked openly about the challenges they both faced in the first half of the season.
"This season has been surprisingly out of my comfort zone, so to speak, because the character was written so differently," Ackles says, adding that all of the "little nuances and idiosyncrasies that he has established with Dean were "wiped away."
What affected Ackles the most, however, were the changes to the brothers' relationship, something he had always utilized as an actor. "There was a big giant wall put up between that for the first half of the season, so that was very difficult," he explains. "It was like a split up. The constant that you know and kind of rely on was gone."
Ackles sums up the first half of the season as "tough, but challenging, so good nonetheless, I guess."
For Padalecki, this year has proved to be more of a challenge than previous seasons, a challenge that he welcomes. "It has been a challenge. Our show really had a five-season arc that we did in the five seasons, so this year we kind of got started on a new foot, but still in the same direction," he says. "Still the same characters, still the same journey, but it did change."
It seemed as if the brothers had reversed roles in the first ten episodes: Dean had become the more somber and emotional brother, while Sam slept around and spit out one-liners he would have once rolled his eyes at if Dean had said them.
"We were flip-flopped, so that was definitely challenging, but a lot of fun," Padalecki says. "We're kind of finding our groove again and carrying on, so it's been great."

Jared Padalecki on Sam's evolving hair in 'Supernatural'

It had the best of times. It had the worst of times. Naturally, we're talking about Sam Winchester's hair on "Supernatural." Not since Rachel's ever-changing hairstyles on "Friends" has a TV character's follicles caused so much commotion.
Zap2it spent the weekend with the stars of "Supernatural" at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural event in Los Angeles, where Sam's much-debated coif was finally brought to Jared Padalecki's attention. (Contrary to popular belief, the sideburns can't speak on their own.)
When asked why Sam's hair has changed as much as his personality throughout the six seasons, Padalecki laughs and says, "I don't know. I think it just changed and grew as Sam changed and grew."
When the show first began, Sam was merely a college student at Stanford looking to get into law school and his hair reflected his innocence and youth. "They wanted Dean to have short hair and Sam to have long hair, they really did," he explains. "But the bangs, I think they thought they looked young."
As the seasons wore on and many miles were added to the Impala, Sam's hair grew longer and fans said goodbye to the "Gilmore Girls" era bangs. "I think they wanted me to look a little bit older, because that's younger. Who knows? Maybe it will [go back to how it was before]. I don't know."
We know each and every "Supernatural" fan has their favorite Sam look, so we compiled hairstyles from each season to find, out once and for all, which of Sam's looks is the most popular. (In clockwise order starting on the top left: Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 6, Season 5 and Season 4.)

Promo Of Gossip Girl Season 4 Episode 16 “While You Weren’t Sleeping”

Here’s the video promo of  “While You Weren’t” episode. Enjoy!

Jensen Ackles says the classic rock is coming back

Music has always been one of the most important supporting characters on "Supernatural." We'd put it right up there with Castiel, Bobby, and the Impala. In fact, one draft of the pilot script described the soundtrack as so: "CUE MUSIC. And you can take your anemic alternative pop and shove it up your ass. We're playing Dean's music-- adrenaline pumping METAL-- and we're playing it loud."

The draft also called our heroes Sam and Dean Harrison, which just doesn't have the same ring to it, but we digress.

The first couple of seasons of the show featured songs like "Renegade" by Styx, "Back in Black" by AC/DC, and "Laugh, I Nearly Died" by the Rolling Stones, but the classic rock has been less prevalent in more recent episodes. Zap2it was On the Scene at the Creation Entertainment Salute to Supernatural Event in Los Angeles when series star Jensen Ackles addressed fans' concerns.

"The music on the show has been pulled back a bit," he says. "A lot of it is budgetary reasons. These songs, these classic rock songs that everybody knows, are really expensive to get. A lot of times it's just not in the budget because production is such a heavy budgeted thing that they just don't have any money left when it's time to put the music in."

Never fear, "Supernatural" fans! The powers that be have heard your concerns and are making adjustments accordingly. "Thank you for complaining," Ackles says. "Because now they are starting to filter it back in and they're going to make an effort because it was a big part of the show." He notes that one of the reasons he fell in love with the pilot script was the line about the anemic alternative pop.

"That was a really cool part of the show and we've still got to carry on that sense. You're right, it's not the same without the music, so I agree. We're bringing it back though," he promises.

Premiere of 'Chalet Girl' in UK theaters

Ed Westwick attends the UK Film Premiere of 'Chalet Girl' at Vue Westfield in London, England on February 8, 2011.

Ed Westwick on the set of Gossip Girl

Ed Westwick looks dapper on the sets of Gossip Girl.

Ed Westwick may look like he is sucking a lemon most of the time but we still very much like his face. And we're not going to make any apologies for that. There is no doubting that The Westwick pulls of fine tailoring as good as the best of them, David Beckham springs to mind mmmmm, and we cannot resist a man in a suit. So when we saw these pics of Ed on the set of Gossip Girl wearing this lovely number we forgot all about his posey pouting. No man could pull off a paisley pink tie better than you Ed, we like the handkerchief too, nice attention to detail. Is that a hint of a pout we see too? Is it? You're damn right it is. Here it is in all it's glory.
Oooo, a furrowed brow too. Very brooding Ed. Whoever you're directing that glare at must have burst into flames from all that smouldering.Ahh we mock, but we still definitely would. Please play Chuck Bass forever though, you can only get away with the posing when you're wearing his fine attire. A haughty demeanor doesn't really go with low cut V neck shirts.

Do you fancy Ed even though he pouts a lot? Do you like him in a suit or do you prefer his personal style?

Return Of An Old Vampire in 'Supernatural'

Season 6 has featured plenty of familiar faces on Supernatural, with returns from Azazel, Tessa, Samuel, Meg and more. But now then show is digging deep and bringing back a face that might not be so familiar unless you're a true fan.

Jim Beaver recently tweeted that he's filming a scene for the 19th episode of the season, tentatively scheduled for April 29, with Amber Benson, aka Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
So, do you remember Lenore the vampire?

If not here's a refresher. Back in season 2's "Bloodlust," Sam and Dean met Lenore, a vampire who led a group that vowed not to harm humans and only wanted to live peacefully. Unfortunately, the evil Gordon Walker had other plans and tried to kill her, but she was saved and sent off to live her human-loving life.So why is Lenore back? Earlier this season we saw the Alpha Vampire trying to recruit more vampires to build an army for a mysterious ultimate plan. Odds are good that this episode will continue that storyline. Also, the episode is currently titled "Mommy Dearest," so I'm willing to bet all the money in my bank account that the Mother of All is also involved. Since it's one of the last episodes of the season, I'm guessing that her big master plan is going to be in full effect by this episode. What do you think of Lenore's return, and if you could bring back another single-episode character from the past, who would it be?
