Meester herself is amazed on such a huge success of the song. Talking over this on the occasion of Teen Choice Awards, she said, “The Cobra Starship song has been amazing. Neither I nor the band had any idea if anyone would like the song. I did it just because I just liked the song. Now I'm very excited about it."
On the award ceremony, Meester succeeded to get the honor for Choice TV Actress, whereas Gossip Girl got the award for Choice TV: Drama.
Leighton Meester is well known for her portrayal of Blair Waldorf on the very successful TV show, Gossip Girl. Blair is a part of high profile society. She is shown as a devious, arrogant, low and smart girl.
